Sales Manager (US)


What are we looking for?

Our team is looking for a sales manager to join Valerann and expedite Valerann's growth, helping spread our lifesaving technology to roads around the US.

As Valerann's first US-based sales manager, you will be responsible for promoting Valerann's US market presence by creating long-term commercial relationships with local road operators, road authorities (DoT's, municipalities), and toll concessions.

Among your responsibilities:

  • Create new sales opportunities in the US
  • Research and identify sales opportunities in the US.
  • Create, grow and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and projects for Valerann's SaaS product and solutions
  • Build strong relationships with client organizations to help us deliver value to their operation and make sure we understand how to serve them best
  • Completes quotes/bids RFI/RPFs with the assistance of other Valerann personnel
  • Negotiates contracts with customers and closes deals that will contribute to the revenue of the company
  • Nurture and promote existing US-based leads:
  • Move clients along the commercial pipeline.
  • Develop trust with champions within clients' organizations
  • Completes quotes/bids RFI/RPFs with the assistance of other Valerann personnel
  • Negotiates contracts with customers and closes deals that will contribute to the revenue of the company
  • Collaborate with product and technology teams to construct solutions to the client's operational and technological requirements.
  • Support clients after the sale and make sure the projects we deliver are a success


  • 5-year track record of documented over-achievement against sales targets in the traffic management, ITS, and road construction & maintenance space.
  • Experience with both public sector and private operator clients
  • 1-2 years experience with SaaS enterprise products sales
  • You have a proven track record in handling long, complex sales cycles from beginning to end or have implemented complex ITS systems within organizations.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of a customer organization and have existing connections you can leverage.
  • You show professionalism in all undertakings, not least timeliness, self-awareness, seeking guidance and development, and conducting tasks to the best of your ability.
  • You are excited about the world of transport and Valerann's mission to make road operators a central player in the future of mobility.
  • Will require travel to client locations in North America and at times worldwide (when needed and permitted)
